ABOUT K-ARTS
The Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts), established in 1992 as a national arts education institution, has cultivated creative professional artists and opened new horizons for Korean arts education. Recently, it entered the top 20 globally (ranked 19th in 2025) in the QS World University Rankings for Performing Arts, becoming the first Korean institution to achieve this and securing the top spot in Asia, establishing itself as a globally recognized arts education institution.
Beyond education and research spanning theater, dance, film, music, visual arts, and traditional arts, K-Arts is expanding as Korea’s largest creative platform and ‘art hub,’ presenting over 200 new works annually. Today, K-Arts’ young artists continue to demonstrate Korea’s creativity and potential on the global stage.
